Ingredients
  

For the Steak

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Rice

  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • For the Vegetables
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced cucumbers
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

For the Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste

Instructions
 

Prepare the Steak

  • Season steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, olive oil and soy sauce. Mix well until coated evenly on all sides.

Heat the Skillet

  • Warm a large skillet on medium-high heat. Let it get hot before adding your steak pieces.

Cook the Steak

  • Place steak in the hot pan. Cook each side until browned and juicy. Slice into thin strips after cooling slightly.

Prepare the Rice

  • Cook jasmine rice in a pot. Add butter and salt to warm rice and stir gently until fluffy and soft.

Slice the Vegetables

  • Cut carrots and cucumbers into thin pieces. Chop lettuce and shred cabbage for a fresh and crunchy mix.

Make the Sauce

  • Whisk soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic paste and sesame oil in a small bowl until smooth and balanced.

Warm the Steak Again

  • Return sliced steak to the skillet. Pour half of the sauce over it. Stir well until coated and warm.

Assemble the Bowl

  • Add warm rice to the bottom of each bowl. Place steak slices on top and arrange the fresh vegetables around.

Add Final Sauce

  • Drizzle remaining sauce over the bowl. Sprinkle green onions for extra freshness and color.
