Make the base mix

  • Mix coconut, condensed milk, sugar, and salt. Make it thick so the candy holds its shape well.

Divide the mixture

  • Split the mix into three parts. This helps you make the pink, white, and brown layers.

Make the vanilla layer

  • Add vanilla to one part. Mix well so the flavor spreads evenly through the white layer.

Make the chocolate layer

  • Add cocoa powder to another part. Mix until it turns brown and tastes like chocolate.

Make the pink layer

  • Add one drop of pink food color. Mix until the layer looks bright and pretty.

Press the first layer

  • Press the pink layer into the pan. Make it flat and smooth to support the next layer.

Add the vanilla layer

  • Press the vanilla layer on top. Keep it smooth so the candy looks clean and even.

Add the chocolate layer

  • Add the chocolate layer on top. Press gently to show clear, sharp layers.

Chill the candy

  • Put the candy in the fridge for two hours so the layers become firm.

Cut into bars

  • Lift the candy from the pan and cut into bars. Each piece will show the three pretty layers.

Notes

  • Use sweetened coconut for a soft bite.
  • Chill the candy long enough for firm layers.
  • Press each layer tightly to avoid breaks.
  • Use gloves to keep the colors clean.
  • Do not use too much food color.
  • Use a sharp knife for clean cuts.
  • Add more powdered sugar if the mix is too wet.
