Ingredients
  

  • 1 large French loaf or Italian bread
  • 1 stick butter ½ cup, softened
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

Prepare the Bread

  • Cut the loaf lengthwise. Place both halves on a baking sheet with the cut side up.

Make the Garlic Mix

  • Put butter, garlic, parsley, basil, oil, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix until smooth.

Spread the Mix

  • Spread the garlic butter on both bread halves. Cover the surface evenly.

Add the Cheese

  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the buttered bread. Make sure it covers well.
