Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup hot sauce like Frank’s RedHot
  • ¼ cup butter unsalted
  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vinegar white or apple cider
  • ½ tsp sugar optional

Instructions
 

Step 1: Melt butter

  • Put butter in a small pan. Heat on medium. Let it melt slowly.

Step 2: Add hot sauce

  • Pour hot sauce into the pan. Stir with a spoon.

Step 3: Add spices

  • Add cayenne, paprika, garlic, onion powder, and salt. Stir well.

Step 4: Add vinegar and sugar

  • Pour in vinegar. Add sugar if you like. Stir again.

Step 5: Simmer

  • Cook for 5 minutes. Stir often so it does not burn.

Step 6: Cool and store

  • Turn off the heat. Let it cool a little. Put in a clean jar.

Notes

  • Use fresh spices for best taste.
  • Reduce cayenne if you want less heat.
  • Add honey for sweet and spicy flavor.
  • Stir often to stop it from burning.
  • Let sauce sit for 1 hour to blend flavors.
