Ingredients
  

  • 500 g chicken drumettes or wings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs panko preferred
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Oil for frying vegetable or sunflower
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions
 

Prepare Chicken

  • Trim excess skin and push meat down the drumette to form a lollipop shape.

Season Chicken

  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder evenly over the chicken pieces.

Set Up Coating Stations

  • Place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate shallow plates for coating.

Coat With Flour

  • Roll each chicken lollipop in flour. Shake off extra flour for even coating.

Dip in Egg

  • Dip floured chicken into beaten eggs. Ensure all sides are fully covered.

Coat With Breadcrumbs

  • Roll chicken in breadcrumbs. Press gently so crumbs stick well.

Heat Oil

  • Pour oil into a frying pan. Heat to medium-high. Test by dropping a breadcrumb.

Fry Chicken Lollipops

  • Place lollipops in hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4–5 minutes each side.

Drain Excess Oil

  • Remove chicken and place on paper towels to remove extra oil.

Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
