Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced sushi-grade tuna
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chopped green onions
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 cup wonton chips or tortilla chips
  • ½ cup diced avocado
  • ¼ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup sliced jalapeños
  • 2 tbsp spicy mayo
  • 1 tbsp sweet soy glaze
  • 1 tbsp cilantro

Instructions

Prepare the Tuna

  • Cut the tuna into small cubes. Make sure the pieces are even for a smooth texture.

Mix the Marinade

  • Add soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and rice vinegar into a bowl. Mix gently until smooth.

Coat the Tuna

  • Add tuna cubes into the marinade. Mix lightly until all pieces are coated well.

Prepare the Chips

  • Place wonton chips or tortilla chips on a large serving tray. Spread them out evenly.

Add the Tuna

  • Spoon the marinated tuna across the chips. Spread gently so each chip gets some tuna.

Add Avocado

  • Place diced avocado over the tuna. Keep the pieces small for easy eating.

Add Tomatoes

  • Add diced tomatoes for color and freshness. Spread them evenly over the chips.

Add Jalapeños

  • Place sliced jalapeños on top. These add a nice spicy kick to each bite.

Add Sauces

  • Drizzle spicy mayo and sweet soy glaze over everything. Make sure the sauces cover well.

Add Final Toppings

  • Sprinkle sesame seeds, green onions, and cilantro on top for flavor and crunch.

Notes

  • Use fresh sushi-grade tuna only.
  • Keep the tuna cold until mixing.
  • Do not overload the chips.
  • Add sauces lightly to keep chips crispy.
  • Serve the nachos immediately.
