Ingredients
  

  • Trader Joe's cauliflower gnocchi – 1 pack frozen
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic – 2 cloves minced
  • Butter – 1 tablespoon
  • Parmesan cheese – ¼ cup grated
  • Salt – ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon
  • Fresh basil – 1 tablespoon optional

Instructions
 

Heat the Pan

  • Place a non-stick skillet on medium heat. Add olive oil and let it warm. This step helps the gnocchi cook evenly and prevents sticking during cooking.

Add Frozen Gnocchi

  • Add frozen cauliflower gnocchi directly into the pan. Do not thaw them. Spread them in a single layer. This helps them cook evenly and become crispy.

Cook Without Stirring

  • Let the gnocchi cook for 3–4 minutes without stirring. This helps create a golden crust. Do not move them too early or they will not crisp properly.

Flip and Cook Again

  • Flip the gnocchi gently using a spatula. Cook for another 3–4 minutes. The outside should be golden brown while the inside stays soft and tender.

Add Garlic and Butter

  • Add minced garlic and butter to the pan. Stir gently. Cook for 1–2 minutes until garlic becomes fragrant. This step adds rich flavor to the dish.

Season the Gnocchi

  • Add salt and black pepper. Mix well so every piece is coated. You can also add herbs or spices based on your taste.

Add Cheese and Garnish

  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the gnocchi. Toss gently. Add fresh basil on top for color and flavor. Turn off heat once everything is well combined.
