Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon optional

Instructions

Mash the Bananas

  • Mash ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Make sure no large lumps remain for even texture.

Add the Sugar

  • Pour sugar over the mashed bananas and mix well until fully blended together into a thick sweet base.

Add Melted Butter

  • Slowly add melted butter into the mixture and stir gently until everything combines into a smooth wet batter.

Add Eggs and Vanilla

  • Crack in the eggs and add vanilla. Mix until the batter looks light, smooth, and evenly combined without streaks.

Mix the Dry Ingredients

  • In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Stir well to blend all dry ingredients evenly.

Combine Wet and Dry

  • Add the dry mix into the wet batter. Fold gently until you get a smooth batter without overmixing.

Prepare the Loaf Pan

  • Grease your loaf pan lightly with butter or oil. Pour the batter inside and smooth the top flat.

Bake the Bread

  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 55 minutes. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick in the center.

Cool the Bread

  • Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then place it on a cooling rack to cool fully before cutting.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas
  • Do not overmix the batter
  • Use real butter for rich flavor
  • Add nuts or chocolate chips if you like
  • Bake in the center of the oven
