Ingredients
  

  • large potatoes peeled and boiled
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

For decoration (optional):

  • Ketchup
  • Black olives
  • Chives

Instructions
 

Boil the potatoes

  • Peel and cut potatoes. Boil until soft. Drain water.

Mash the potatoes

  • Put potatoes in a bowl. Add butter, milk, sour cream, cheese, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mash until smooth.

Prepare the mold

  • Spray the skull mold with oil. This stops sticking.

Fill the mold

  • Put mashed potatoes in the mold. Press to hold shape.

Bake the skulls

  • Put mold on a tray. Bake at 375°F for 25–30 minutes until golden.

Remove and cool

  • Let skulls cool a little. Take them out carefully.

Decorate for fun

  • Use ketchup for eyes. Add olives for scary look. Chives can make them extra creepy.

Serve warm
