Ingredients

  • 12 Skinner lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cups pasta sauce
  • 1 can tomato sauce 15 oz
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg

Instructions

Cook the Noodles

  • Fill a large pot with water and add salt. Boil the noodles for 8–10 minutes. Stir sometimes so they don’t stick. Drain and set aside when soft.

Make the Meat Sauce

  • In a skillet, cook the beef and onion on medium heat. Stir until the beef turns brown. Drain the oil. Add pasta sauce, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir well and cook for 10 minutes.

Mix the Cheese Filling

  • In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and one egg. Stir well until smooth. This will make the lasagna creamy.

Layer the Lasagna

  • Grease a baking dish. Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom. Add three noodles. Spread the cheese mix, then some meat sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella on top. Repeat until you use all ingredients.

Bake the Lasagna

  • Cover with foil. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for 15 more minutes until golden and bubbly.

Rest and Serve

  • Let it rest for 10 minutes after baking. This helps the layers set well. Cut and serve warm. That’s how you make Skinner Lasagna Recipe—simple, cheesy, and full of love!

Notes

  • Don’t cook the noodles too long.
  • Let it rest before cutting.
  • Use fresh mozzarella for extra creaminess.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for a new flavor.
  • Add more sauce if you like it juicy.
