Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cooked lobster meat chopped
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups white cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

Boil the Pasta

  • Cook macaroni in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.

Melt the Butter

  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Do not let it brown.

Add the Flour

  • Whisk flour into butter. Cook for one minute until smooth.

Add Milk and Cream

  • Slowly pour milk and cream. Whisk constantly until thick and smooth.

Add Cheese

  • Add cheddar, mozzarella and Parmesan. Stir until cheese melts fully.

Season the Sauce

  • Add salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder. Mix well.

Add Pasta

  • Add cooked macaroni into cheese sauce. Stir until coated well.

Add Lobster

  • Gently fold lobster meat into the pasta mixture.

Bake the Dish

  • Transfer to baking dish. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.

Rest Before Serving

  • Let rest five minutes before serving. Sauce thickens nicely.

  • Use fresh lobster for best taste.
  • Shred cheese yourself for smooth sauce.
  • Cook pasta just until tender.
