Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Red onion slices
  • Pickles optional

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix ground turkey and egg.
  • Add breadcrumbs, mayo, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Shape 4 equal patties with your hands.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan or grill.
  • Cook patties 6 minutes on each side.
  • Add cheese in the last minute.
  • Toast the burger buns lightly.
  • Add lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles on buns.
  • Place turkey patty inside and serve.

Notes

  • Do not over-mix turkey. It makes patties dry.
  • Keep patties thick for juicy burgers.
  • Use a thermometer. Cook until 165°F inside.
  • Toast the buns for extra flavor.
  • Add fresh veggies for crunch.
  • Rest patties for 2 minutes before eating.
