- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- 1 can kidney beans drained
- 1 can black beans drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup beef broth
- Optional: cheese sour cream, green onions
Mix in Spices
Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Mix well so all flavors blend together.
- Fresh spices are to be used to be strong.
- Allow the chili to simmer slowly to get a full flavor.
