Ingredients
  

  • 1 can whole kernel corn drained
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 box corn muffin mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven

  • Heat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a baking dish.

Add Corn to Bowl

  • Place whole corn and cream corn into a large bowl.

Mix Wet Ingredients

  • Add sour cream and melted butter. Stir until smooth.

Add Corn Muffin Mix

  • Pour in corn muffin mix. Mix gently until combined.

Season the Batter

  • Add salt and black pepper. Stir lightly to spread seasoning.

Add Cheese

  • Mix in shredded cheddar cheese for extra flavor.

Transfer to Dish

  • Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Spread evenly.

Bake the Casserole

  • Bake for 45 minutes until golden and set in center.

Cool Before Serving

  • Let cool for five minutes before serving warm.
