Ingredients

  • 4 lean pork chops boneless or bone-in
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Pork Chops

  • Dry the pork chops with a paper towel. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides. This will give them a nice flavor when cooked.

Heat the Pan

  • Put your pan on medium heat. Add olive oil and let it get hot. A hot pan gives the pork chops a nice golden crust.

Cook the Pork Chops

  • Place the pork chops in the hot pan. Cook for 4–5 minutes on each side. The pork should be brown and cooked inside. Take them out and set aside.

Make the Sauce

  • In the same pan, add chicken broth, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Mix well and let it cook for 2–3 minutes. This will make a smooth and tasty sauce.

Combine and Simmer

  • Put the pork chops back into the pan. Spoon the sauce over them. Let them cook for 3 more minutes so they absorb the flavor.

Serve Hot

  • Turn off the heat. Add fresh parsley on top. Serve hot with your favorite side dish.

Notes

  • Use lean pork for a healthy meal.
  • Don’t cook too long or the meat will dry.
  • Let the pork rest before serving.
  • Add herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra taste.
  • Check the temperature — 145°F means it’s ready.
