Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked lobster meat chopped
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 hot dog buns or split-top rolls
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped celery optional
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

Cook the Lobster

  • Boil a large pot of salted water. Add lobster and cook for about 8 minutes. Remove and let it cool. Take out the meat and chop into bite-size pieces.

Prepare the Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, add lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Mix gently until everything is well coated. Do not overmix to keep texture soft.

Add Extra Flavor

  • Add chopped celery and parsley into the mixture. Stir lightly. This adds crunch and freshness. You can skip celery if you prefer a smoother texture.

Toast the Buns

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add butter and toast the buns until golden brown. This step gives a crispy outside and soft inside.

Fill the Rolls

  • Spoon the lobster mixture into each toasted bun. Fill generously for a rich bite. Spread evenly so every bite has lobster and dressing.

Serve Immediately

  • Serve the lobster rolls warm or slightly chilled. Enjoy fresh for best taste. Add extra lemon juice on top if you like more tangy flavor.

Notes

  • Use fresh lobster for the best flavor.
  • Do not overcook lobster to keep it tender.
  • Use soft and fresh buns for better texture.
  • Keep dressing light to highlight lobster taste.
  • Chill filling slightly for a refreshing bite.
