Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons agar agar powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Food coloring any color you like
  • Flavor extract strawberry, lemon, or any flavor you want

Instructions

Mix Agar and Water

  • Put agar agar powder and water in a saucepan. Stir well before heating. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.

Heat the Mixture

  • Turn on the stove. Heat the mix while stirring. When it starts to boil, keep stirring so there are no lumps.

Add Sugar

  • Add sugar to the mix. Stir until the sugar melts. The mix should look clear and smooth.

Add Flavors and Colors

  • Turn off the heat. Add flavor and color drops. Stir softly. You can use small cups to make different colors.

Pour into Molds

  • Pour the mix into silicone molds or a tray. Leave it to cool for 1 hour. It should turn firm.

Cut into Shapes

  • Take the candy out of the molds. If you used a tray, cut it into small pieces. Make uneven cuts to look like crystals.

Dry the Candy

  • Place the candy on a tray. Let it dry for 2–3 days. The outside will get hard, and the inside will stay soft.

Enjoy Your Crystals

  • After drying, your Kohakutou Crystal Gummy Candy is ready to eat. It will shine and sparkle like real gems.

Notes

  • Use clear agar for a shiny look.
  • Don’t overboil; it can make candy too hard.
  • Use light colors for a pretty look.
  • Keep each color in a separate bowl.
  • Don’t keep it in the fridge; let it dry naturally.
