Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup cooked bacon bits
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven

  • Turn oven to 375°F. Let it heat.

Mix the dry items

  • In a bowl, add biscuit mix, garlic, and onion powder. Stir well.

Add the wet items

  • Pour in milk and egg. Mix smooth.

Add cheese and bacon

  • Stir in cheddar cheese and bacon bits. Mix.

Shape the bites

  • Scoop small spoons of mix. Roll into balls.

Place on tray

  • Line baking sheet with paper. Put balls on it.

Bake until golden

  • Bake 18–20 minutes until golden and crispy.

Cool and serve

  • Take out and cool a little. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use sharp cheddar for rich taste.
  • Do not overmix batter. Keep light.
  • Add jalapeños for spicy bites.
  • Always line tray for easy cleaning.
  • Serve fresh for best flavor.
