Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

Season the Chicken

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat the Skillet

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Cook the Chicken

  • Cook chicken 5 minutes each side until golden.

Remove Chicken

  • Take chicken out and keep it warm on a plate.

Cook Garlic and Tomatoes

  • Add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes to the skillet. Cook 2 minutes.

Add Broth and Cream

  • Pour chicken broth and heavy cream into the skillet. Stir well.

Add Parmesan and Spices

  • Add Parmesan, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Stir until smooth.

Simmer the Sauce

  • Let sauce simmer 5 minutes until thick and creamy.

Return Chicken to Skillet

  • Put chicken back in the sauce. Coat it well with sauce.

Finish with Basil and Butter

  • Add butter and basil. Stir and cook 2 more minutes.
