Ingredients
  

  • 4 sea bass fillets about 6 oz each
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon zest and juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp thyme leaves
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This helps the fish cook evenly.

Season the Fish

  • Pat the sea bass dry with a paper towel. Drizzle olive oil on top. Add salt, pepper, and thyme. Rub them gently into the fish.

Make the Butter Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon zest, and juice. Stir well. This mix gives the fish a bright lemon flavor.

Bake the Sea Bass

  • Place the fish on a foil-lined baking dish. Pour the butter mix over it. Bake for 15–18 minutes. The fish is done when it flakes with a fork.

Add Fresh Herbs

  • Sprinkle parsley on top after baking. Add lemon slices for color. The herbs make it smell and look nice.
