  • 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar optional, for acidity

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ensures tomatoes roast evenly and bring out their natural sweetness.

Prepare Tomatoes

  • Wash and halve the tomatoes. Place them on a baking sheet, cut side up. This allows even roasting for deep flavor.

Add Onion and Garlic

Blend the Soup

  • Use an immersion blender or regular blender to puree the soup until smooth. Be careful with hot liquids to avoid splashing.

Add Cream and Seasoning

  • Stir in heavy cream. Add salt, pepper and sugar if needed. Taste and adjust seasoning for the perfect balance.
