Ingredients
  

  • 4 ripe peaches peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice optional, keeps peaches bright

Instructions
 

Prepare the Peaches

  • Peel and chop fresh peaches. Add lemon juice to prevent browning.

Cook the Peaches

  • Place peaches and ½ cup sugar in a saucepan. Cook until soft.

Blend the Peach Mixture

  • Use a blender to puree peaches until smooth. Let it cool.

Mix Cream and Milk

  • In a bowl, combine heavy cream, milk, vanilla and salt. Stir gently.

Add Peach Puree

  • Mix cooled peach puree into the cream mixture. Blend until smooth.

Chill the Mixture

  • Cover the mixture and refrigerate for 1 hour. Chill fully for best results.

Freeze in Ice Cream Maker

  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker. Follow manufacturer instructions.

Transfer to Freezer

  • Move ice cream to a freezer-safe container. Freeze for 2–3 hours.

Serve
