  • 1 cup orzo pasta

Heat the Pot

  • Place a large pot on medium heat. Add olive oil and let it warm. This helps cook the chicken evenly and adds a rich base flavor.

Season the Chicken

  • Sprinkle salt and black pepper on chicken thighs. Make sure all sides are coated well. This simple seasoning builds strong flavor from the start.

Brown the Chicken

  • Place chicken in the hot pot. Cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. This step locks in juices and adds a deep flavor.

Cook the Vegetables

  • Remove chicken and set aside. Add onion, carrots, and celery to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes until soft. Stir often to avoid burning.
