  • 2 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Vegetables

  • Shred green cabbage, red cabbage and carrots. Place all shredded vegetables in a large mixing bowl.

Make the Dressing

  • In a small bowl, whisk mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper until smooth.

Combine Dressing and Vegetables

Add Blue Cheese

  • Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese over the salad. Fold carefully to distribute evenly without mashing.

Taste and Adjust

  • Taste the coleslaw. Add more salt, pepper or vinegar if needed for perfect balance.

Chill Before Serving

  • Cover the bowl and chill for at least 30 minutes to let flavors blend and vegetables crisp.

Serve Fresh

  • Toss coleslaw again before serving. Serve cold as a side dish for meals or parties.

Notes

  • Use fresh cabbage for crisp texture
  • Shred vegetables finely for easier tossing
  • Chill the salad before serving for better flavor
  • Crumble blue cheese by hand for texture
  • Adjust honey or vinegar for personal taste preference
