  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup oats

Prepare the apples

  • Slice the apples into thin pieces. Add sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well until coated.

Make the crust

  • Mix flour, sugar and cold butter. Rub until the mix looks like crumbs with soft texture.

Press the crust

  • Place crust mix into a baking pan. Press it down firmly to make an even layer.

Bake the crust

  • Bake the crust for 12 minutes. Remove from oven when light golden and slightly firm.

Add the apple layer

  • Spread the apple mix over the baked crust. Make a smooth layer across the pan.

Prepare the crumble

  • Mix flour, oats, sugar, and butter. Rub until it forms soft crumbs.

Top the apples

  • Sprinkle the crumble mix over the apples. Cover evenly for good crisp texture.
