Ingredients

  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs room temperature
  • ¾ cup whole milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds for topping

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease the cake pan. Line it with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • Add flour, baking powder and salt to a bowl. Whisk gently until mixed well.

Cream Butter and Sugar

  • Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. This helps the cake stay soft.

Add Oil and Eggs

  • Add oil slowly. Add eggs one at a time. Mix well after each egg.

Add Extracts

  • Mix almond and vanilla extract into the batter until smooth and fragrant.
