Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs chopped
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup green onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: paprika for topping

Instructions

Prepare the Eggs

  • Peel hard-boiled eggs. Chop them into small pieces. Set aside for mixing into the dip.

Soften the Cream Cheese

  • Place cream cheese in a bowl. Mix with a spatula until smooth and creamy.

Add Mayonnaise

  • Pour mayonnaise into cream cheese. Stir gently until combined for a smooth base.

Mix in Eggs

  • Add chopped eggs to the bowl. Fold them carefully to avoid breaking too much.

Add Cheese

  • Stir in shredded cheddar cheese. This adds extra creaminess and a cheesy flavor to the dip.

Season the Dip

  • Add garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well for even flavor throughout the dip.

Preheat Oven

  • Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Preheat while you prepare the dip for baking.

Transfer to Baking Dish

  • Spread the dip evenly in an oven-safe baking dish. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake the Dip

  • Place dish in oven. Bake for 15–20 minutes until warm and slightly golden on top.

Add Optional Topping

  • Sprinkle paprika or extra cheese on top. Bake for 2 more minutes for a golden finish.

Serve Warm

  • Take out of oven. Serve immediately with crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • Do not use cold cream cheese
  • Do not overcook the dip
  • Do not skip seasoning
  • Do not mash eggs too much
  • Do not leave dip sitting too long before serving
