Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb 450 g mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice for extra flavor

Instructions
 

Prepare Mushrooms

  • Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Slice them evenly for uniform cooking.

Heat Butter and Oil

  • In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat until melted.

Add Garlic

  • Add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, avoiding burning.

Cook Mushrooms

  • Add mushrooms to the skillet. Stir well to coat them with butter and garlic.

Season Mushrooms

  • Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly over mushrooms. Stir to mix flavors thoroughly.

Sauté Until Tender

  • Cook mushrooms for 5–7 minutes until soft and golden brown, stirring occasionally for even cooking.

Add Lemon Juice (Optional)

  • Drizzle lemon juice over mushrooms. Stir gently to add a fresh, tangy flavor.

Check Taste

  • Taste and adjust salt or pepper if needed. Make sure mushrooms are fully cooked.

Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle chopped parsley on top. Serve hot as a side dish or appetizer immediately.
