Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups seedless green grapes washed and dried
  • 2 cups white granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Gel food colors purple, blue, pink, black
  • Edible glitter or pearl dust

Instructions
 

Prepare the Grapes

  • Wash grapes well. Dry completely. Insert skewers into grapes carefully.

Prepare Baking Tray

  • Line baking tray with parchment paper. Set aside near your workspace.

Heat Sugar Mixture

  • Add sugar, corn syrup and water to saucepan. Heat on medium heat.

Cook to Hard Crack Stage

  • Cook until mixture reaches 300°F. Use candy thermometer for accuracy.

Remove from Heat

  • Turn off heat immediately. Let bubbles settle for one minute.

Add Colors

  • Add drops of food colors. Gently swirl to create galaxy effect.

Dip the Grapes

  • Dip grapes into candy carefully. Let excess drip off.

Add Glitter

  • Sprinkle edible glitter while candy is still wet.

Cool the Grapes

  • Place grapes on parchment paper. Let them cool completely.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Remove skewers if desired. Serve once candy is fully set.
