Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz spaghetti noodles
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef or sausage
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Cook the pasta

  • Boil water in a pot. Add salt. Cook spaghetti. Drain.

Prepare the sauce

  • Heat olive oil in a pan. Add beef or sausage. Stir in sauce, garlic powder, and herbs. Cook five minutes.
  • Mix pasta and sauce
  • Put spaghetti in a bowl. Add sauce. Mix gently.

Layer in baking dish

  • Grease dish. Add half pasta. Sprinkle cheese. Add rest pasta. Top with cheese.

Bake

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake 20–25 minutes. Cheese should bubble.

Serve hot

  • Cool two minutes. Serve with salad or garlic bread.

Notes

  • Use fresh mozzarella for better melt.
  • Do not overcook pasta.
  • Add more herbs for flavor.
  • Cover if cheese browns too fast.
  • Rest before serving.
