Ingredients
  

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Butter for toasting buns

Instructions
 

Prepare the Beef Mixture

  • In a large bowl, add ground beef, shredded cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Mix gently using your hands until everything is combined evenly.

Shape the Patties

  • Divide the mixture into equal portions. Shape each portion into round patties. Make them slightly flat for even cooking. Keep patties similar in size for best results.

Heat the Pan

  • Place a skillet or grill pan on medium heat. Add a little butter or oil. Let it heat properly before placing patties. This helps create a nice crust.

Cook the Patties

  • Place patties in the hot pan. Cook for about 4–5 minutes on one side. Flip carefully and cook the other side until fully done and juicy.

Toast the Buns

  • Spread a little butter on burger buns. Toast them in a pan until lightly golden. This adds extra flavor and texture to the burgers.

Assemble the Burgers

  • Place cooked patties on the bottom bun. Add lettuce and tomato slices. You can also add extra sauce if you like.

Add the Top Bun

  • Place the top bun over the fillings. Press gently to hold everything together. Make sure the burger stays firm and neat.

Serve Immediately

  • Serve the burgers hot for best taste. Enjoy them with fries or your favorite side dish. Fresh burgers always taste better.
