Ingredients
  

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions
 

Mix the Dry Ingredients

  • Add the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast to a large bowl. Stir everything together until the dry ingredients are evenly mixed before adding any liquid.

Add the Water

  • Pour the warm water and olive oil into the bowl. Stir with a wooden spoon until a rough, sticky dough forms. Do not worry if it looks slightly messy.

Knead the Dough

  • Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for about eight minutes until it becomes smooth, soft and elastic. Add only a little flour if needed.

Let the Dough Rise

  • Place the dough into a lightly oiled bowl. Cover it with a clean towel. Let it rise in a warm place for about ninety minutes until doubled.

Divide the Dough

  • Punch the dough down gently to remove large air bubbles. Divide it into two equal portions. Shape each piece into a smooth round ball.

Shape the Pizza

  • Stretch each dough ball into a round pizza base using your hands. You can also use a rolling pin if you prefer a thinner crust.

Add Your Favorite Toppings

  • Spread pizza sauce over the dough. Add mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings. Keep the toppings light so the crust stays crispy while baking.

Bake Until Golden

  • Bake the pizza in a preheated 475°F (245°C) oven for about 12 to 15 minutes. The crust should become golden with bubbly melted cheese before serving.
