Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 large onions thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions
 

Slice the Onions

  • Thinly slice the onions. Make sure slices are even for smooth cooking and sweet flavor.

Cook the Onions

  • Heat butter and oil. Add onions. Cook slowly until golden and caramelized for sweet taste.

Season the Chicken

  • Mix garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Rub spices on chicken well for full flavor.

Sear the Chicken

  • Place chicken in hot pan. Cook both sides until golden for nice color and taste.

Add the Onions
