Ingredients
  

  • 1 can cream corn
  • 1 can corn kernels drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 box cornbread mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven

  • Set oven to 350°F. This makes it bake well.

Mix the base

  • In a big bowl, put cream corn, corn kernels, sour cream, and melted butter. Stir well.

Add cornbread mix

  • Add cornbread mix. Stir until smooth.

Add cheese

  • Mix in half of the cheese. Save the rest.

Pour into dish

  • Grease the baking dish. Pour the mix inside. Spread flat.

Bake the casserole

  • Bake for 45 minutes. It should turn golden.

Add topping cheese

  • Take it out. Put the rest of the cheese on top. Bake for 5 minutes more.

Cool and serve

  • Let it rest for 10 minutes. Serve warm. Enjoy.

Notes

  • Use fresh corn if you can.
  • Add more cheese for extra taste.
  • Do not stir too much.
  • Add jalapeños for a spicy kick.
  • Bake until edges are golden.
