Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Pepperoni slices optional
  • Bell peppers mushrooms, or other toppings

Instructions
 

Activate the Yeast

  • Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Wait 5–10 minutes.

Make the Dough

  • Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix to make soft dough.

Knead the Dough

  • Knead on floured surface 5–7 minutes. Dough should be smooth.

Let the Dough Rise

  • Put dough in a bowl. Cover. Wait 1 hour.

Preheat the Oven

  • Set oven to 450°F (230°C). Heat baking sheet or pizza stone.

Roll the Dough

  • Flatten dough with rolling pin. Make a circle or rectangle.

Add Tomato Sauce

  • Spread tomato sauce on dough. Keep edges clean.

Sprinkle Cheese

  • Add mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly.

Add Toppings

  • Put pepperoni, bell peppers, or mushrooms. Don’t add too much.

Season the Pizza

  • Sprinkle oregano and garlic powder.

Bake the Pizza

  • Bake in oven 12–15 minutes until cheese melts.

Check the Crust

  • Crust should be golden and slightly crispy.

Remove From Oven

  • Take pizza out carefully. Let it cool 2–3 minutes.

Slice the Pizza

  • Cut into 6–8 slices with knife or cutter.

Serve Hot

  • Serve pizza immediately with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use warm water for yeast.
  • Don’t put too many toppings.
  • Let dough rest for soft crust.
  • Pizza stone causes crust to be crispy.
  • Preheat oven for even baking.
