Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese soft
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp orange zest optional
  • A small pinch of salt

Instructions

Make the Creamy Mix

  • In a bowl, add cream cheese, honey, and cinnamon. Mix well until smooth and creamy. This will be the sweet filling for the roll-ups.

Add Cranberries and Nuts

  • Add the dried cranberries and chopped nuts. Mix them gently with a spoon. These give the rolls a chewy and crunchy texture. Add orange zest if you like a fresh, citrus flavor.

Spread the Filling

  • Lay one tortilla flat on the table. Spread the cream cheese mix evenly over it. Cover the whole tortilla, even the edges.

Roll It Tight

  • Start from one end and roll the tortilla tightly. A tight roll helps it hold its shape better.

Chill the Roll

  • Wrap the rolled tortilla in plastic wrap. Keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes. Chilling helps the roll become firm and easy to cut.

Slice the Rolls

  • Take the roll out of the fridge. Remove the wrap and place it on a cutting board. Slice it into small pieces, about 1 inch thick.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Place the slices on a plate. Your Christmas Cranberry Roll-Ups are ready to serve. They look beautiful and taste creamy and sweet.

Notes

  • Use soft tortillas for smooth rolling.
  • Chill before slicing for neat pieces.
  • Add chopped green onions for a sweet and salty mix.
  • Use whole wheat tortillas for a healthier choice.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top for extra flavor.
