Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

Pizza Toppings

  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup sliced bell peppers
  • ¼ cup sliced mushrooms
  • ¼ cup sliced olives
  • ¼ cup cooked chicken or pepperoni optional

Instructions

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. This keeps the crust from sticking while baking and helps it cook evenly.

Prepare the Chicken Mixture

  • Place ground chicken in a large mixing bowl. Add mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Mix everything well until the ingredients combine completely.

Shape the Pizza Crust

  • Place the chicken mixture on the lined baking sheet. Spread it into a round pizza shape. Make it about ¼ inch thick so it cooks evenly and becomes slightly crispy.

Bake the Chicken Crust

  • Place the crust in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. The chicken will cook and become firm. Remove the crust once it turns slightly golden.

Add the Pizza Sauce

  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the cooked chicken crust. Leave a small border around the edges like a regular pizza. This helps keep toppings in place.

Add Cheese and Toppings

  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Add bell peppers, mushrooms, olives and other toppings you like. Keep toppings light so the crust stays firm.

Bake the Pizza Again

  • Return the pizza to the oven. Bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese melts completely and the toppings warm through.

Cool and Slice

  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest for 3 minutes. This helps the crust firm up. Slice the pizza and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use lean ground chicken for the best texture.
  • Spread the crust thin for a crispy result.
  • Pre-bake the crust before adding toppings.
  • Do not overload the pizza with toppings.
  • Let the pizza rest before slicing.
