Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups cooked chicken shredded or chopped
  • 6 slices cooked ham chopped
  • 1 ½ cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups cooked pasta optional
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.

Mix Creamy Sauce

  • In a bowl, whisk cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, milk, garlic, onion powder and pepper.

Combine Chicken and Ham

  • In a large bowl, mix cooked chicken, chopped ham and half of the Swiss and mozzarella cheese.

Add Sauce

  • Pour the creamy sauce into the chicken mixture. Stir gently until well combined.

Layer in Baking Dish

  • If using pasta, layer half of it at the bottom of the dish. Spread chicken mixture evenly on top.

Add Cheese

  • Sprinkle the remaining Swiss and mozzarella cheese over the top of the casserole.

Prepare Breadcrumb Topping

  • In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over cheese layer.

Bake the Casserole

  • Bake uncovered in preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, until cheese melts and topping is golden brown.

Garnish and Serve

  • Remove from oven. Garnish with fresh parsley. Let it cool 5 minutes, then serve hot.

Notes

  • Use leftover cooked chicken for faster preparation.
  • Shred the chicken finely for better texture.
  • Mix cheese varieties for richer flavor.
  • Toast breadcrumbs before topping for extra crunch.
  • Let casserole rest 5 minutes before serving.
