Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp chili powder optional for spice

Optional Add-ins:

  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp brown sugar for sweetness

Instructions

Melt the Butter

  • Put butter in a small bowl. Heat it in the microwave or on the stove. Make sure it’s fully melted. Butter helps the flavor stick to your mix.

Add the Seasonings

  • Add Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, pepper, and chili powder to the melted butter. Stir well. The mix should look smooth and smell rich.

Taste the Mix

  • Try a small spoon of the seasoning. If you want more flavor, add a bit more salt or spice.

Combine with Chex Mix

  • Pour the seasoning over Chex cereal, pretzels, nuts, or crackers. Stir slowly so everything gets coated well.

Bake or Microwave (Optional)

  • For extra crunch, bake your mix at 250°F (120°C) for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. If you want it quick, microwave it in 30-second steps until crispy.

Cool and Store

  • Let your mix cool fully. Put it in a jar or container. It will stay fresh for up to two weeks.

Notes

  • Use real butter for better taste.
  • Stir the seasoning well before using.
  • Change the spices the way you like — mild or spicy.
  • Don’t skip Worcestershire sauce; it adds strong flavor.
  • Let the mix cool before storing so it stays crunchy.
  • Use olive oil instead of butter for a lighter version.
