Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley optional
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Cook the Beef

  • Heat a skillet on medium heat. Add beef and cook until brown. Drain extra oil. Add taco seasoning and a little water. Stir and cook for two more minutes. Let it cool for a bit.

Prepare the Dough

  • Unroll the pizza dough on parchment paper. Use a rolling pin to make it flat. Cut it into small rectangles with a knife.

Add the Filling

  • Put a spoon of beef on each dough piece. Add shredded cheese on top. Don’t add too much, or it may spill out.

Fold and Seal

  • Fold the dough over the filling. Press the edges to close it well. You can use a fork to press the sides and make them neat.

Bake the Taco Sticks

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Put the taco sticks on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Brush butter on top. Sprinkle garlic powder and parsley. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and crispy.

Cool and Serve

  • Let the taco sticks cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.

Notes

  • Use fresh pizza dough for the best taste.
  • Don’t overfill the sticks with cheese.
  • Brush butter for a shiny golden top.
  • Add jalapeños for a spicy touch.
  • You can bake or air fry them too.
