Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups mushrooms sliced
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Riesling or white wine
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions
 

Cook the Chicken

  • Dry the chicken with a paper towel. Add salt and pepper. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side. It should turn golden. Take it out and keep it on a plate.

Cook Mushrooms and Onion

  • In the same pan, add butter. When it melts, add mushrooms and onion. Cook until soft and golden. Stir sometimes so it doesn’t burn. Add garlic and cook for one more minute.

Add Wine

  • Pour the wine into the pan. Stir it well. Let it cook for 2–3 minutes. The wine gives a rich taste to the sauce.

Make the Sauce

  • Add chicken broth and mix. Sprinkle flour and stir fast to make it thick. Add the cream and stir again. Let the sauce cook until smooth and creamy.

Mix Chicken and Sauce

  • Put the chicken back into the pan. Spoon the sauce on top. Cook for 5 more minutes so the chicken gets the creamy taste.

Garnish and Serve

  • Turn off the heat. Add chopped parsley on top. Serve it hot with rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.

  • Don’t skip the wine — it gives rich taste.
  • Cook the sauce slowly for a creamy texture.
  • Use light cream if you want fewer calories.
