  • 1 cup Bisquick mix
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp sugar optional for sweet crepes
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional for sweet crepes
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

Make the batter

  • In a bowl, mix Bisquick, milk, and eggs. Add sugar and vanilla if making sweet crepes. Whisk until smooth with no lumps.

Heat the pan

  • Place skillet on medium heat. Add a little butter or oil. Spread evenly.

Pour the batter

  • Use a ladle to pour a small amount of batter. Tilt the pan to spread thin.

Cook the first side

  • Cook for about one minute until edges lift. The bottom should be light golden.

Flip the crepe

  • Use a spatula to flip gently. Cook the other side for 30 seconds.

Repeat the process

  • Cook all the batter the same way. Stack crepes on a plate.

Add the filling

  • Fill crepes with fruit, Nutella, or cheese. Roll or fold and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use a non-stick skillet for easy flipping.
  • Keep the batter thin for light crepes.
  • Rest the batter for 10 minutes before cooking.
  • Do not add too much batter in the pan.
  • Cook on medium heat to avoid burning.
